＜Uli'uli ウリウリ〜Rattle, Hawaiian Maracas〜＞

マラカスのように振って音を出したり，太ももに軽く打ち付けて音を出す，フラの代表的な打楽器です。ハイペースでリズミカルなパフォーマンスの時に使われます。
Producing sound by shaking maracas, or striking lightly on the thighs.
A typical hula percussion, and is used when the rhythmic performance at high pace.
小さなココナッツには，"アリイポエ”という植物の種が詰められて音が出ます。
In a small coconut packed species of plants "Ali'i poe". Sounds of "Shan-shan" comes out.
棒状のところは，グリップです。
The part of rod-shaped is grip.
ディスクは、赤と黄色に染められた鶏の羽飾りです。
The disk is checken's feathers that has been dyed red and yellow.
＜Ipu イプ 〜Small gourd drum for Dancers＞

イプは小さな瓢箪で 作られているフラの定番であるパーカッションです。
手のひらや指でリズミカルに叩くドラムの役割をしています。
The ipu is a common Hula percussion instrument that made of a small gourd, and its functions as a drum by rhythmically slapping it with the hands and fingers.
イプは，ダンサー用です。
This ipu is for dancers.
＜Pu'ili プイリ~Split Bamboo~＞

長さ約６０㎝の「先割れ竹の棒」の楽器。叩くと，割れた部分が，カサカサと音がします。
This is a length of bamboo about two feet long with aplit strips from the tip to an uncut handle.
強く叩くと，パンパンと音がします。
When struck, the splintered sections produce an attractive rustling sound.
現代のダンスでは、カヒコ（古典フラ）でも，アウアナ（現代フラ）でも２本のプイリをペアで使用することが多いようです。
Mordern dancing for Kahiko and auana often uses pu'ili in pairs.
